The Appeal
Purists love the early Classic, but for the rest of us the original Range Rover just got better and better. The five door top specification Vogue SE introduced a luxury theme that has been the model’s calling card ever since, featuring Connolly leather, walnut veneers and electric seats and sunroof.
As a 1991 model, this Vogue SE features the 3.9L version of the tough and reliable V8, which had been introduced the previous year. It is a very smart example in dark grey with well kept grey leather cabin. The mileage of 105,000 miles is low for Classic of this age and reflected in the impressive condition.
The vendor bought it in late 2025 and has since expended over £7,000 making it even better. This work, notably by a classic Land Rover specialist, has covered welding, sunroof repairs, new vacuum advance unit, brake calipers, pads and pipes and A frame repairs. It has also been extensively undersealed.
The vendor tells us that since buying this Range Rover he has covered 6,000 miles in it, during which it has proved capable and reliable.
With all that recent work and a lengthy MOT valid to August 2027, this is good opportunity for the many fans of these capable classic workhorses.
The vendor says:
“Good honest car, has had a lot of work done in last year fixing rust underneath and making sunroof work as it should. Has covered 6000 miles in last year.”
