The Appeal
The W124 and C124 were not so much manufactured as seemingly hewn from a single block of metal, such is the level of engineering and quality. It’s no surprise that they survive in good numbers and are now attracting increasing collector interest.
Here is a chance to get in on the action with a car that you can use, enjoy and add value. It is a 1992 230CE with the ultra-reliable M102 4cyl fuel-injected engine, and finished in attractive Malachite Green metallic with a rare light brown velour interior.
The current keeper acquired the car in 2014 and we’re told that it has always been garaged. We’re told that the car is mechanically and structurally sound and would make a good base for improvement. There are cosmetic points to note inside and out, highlighted in the photos.
