The Appeal
In 1993, Chevrolet celebrated 40 years of the Corvette with a special series featuring particularly distinctive styling. The 40th Anniversary Corvette is notably recognized by its Ruby Red finish, used for both the body and interior, as well as commemorative logos embroidered on the seats and floor mats. It's powered by a 5.7-liter LT1 V8 producing 300 hp paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Only 2,043 convertible examples were produced in this series, making it a relatively rare version of the C4 generation.
This car spent its early years in Florida before moving to Ontario in 2012, then being imported to France in 2023. Since then, it has undergone several mechanical interventions, including front suspension restoration, rear brake pad replacement, transmission fluid and filter service, and engine maintenance.
The body was repainted in its original Ruby Red finish, while the interior received new floor mats and sun visors. A matching hard-top is also included with the car, offering greater versatility for this convertible.
According to the seller, the car starts immediately and runs properly. He notes having completed approximately 1,200 km over a weekend in July 2025 without any issues.
