The Appeal

Motor racing fans will remember the glory days of BTCC, with the late great Murray Walker in the commentary box and the likes of Gabriele Tarquini battling it out with John Cleland, Joachim Winkelhock, and Alain Menu.

This 1994 Alfa Romeo 155 TS 1.8 Silverstone pays homage to Tarquini's memorable 1994 BTCC campaign. The Silverstone edition was created to mark that achievement, making it amongst the most desirable variants of the 155 range. Fitted with the characterful 1.8-litre Twin Spark engine and a five-speed manual gearbox, the vendor describes this car as thoroughly engaging to drive.

This example was acquired in November 2023 specifically to join a collection of BTCC memorabilia. For fans of touring car's golden age, this car would be a wonderful addition.
