The Appeal

The A124 Cabriolet is widely regarded as one of the finest open-top cars Mercedes-Benz ever produced, benefiting from the legendary build quality and engineering integrity of the W124 platform. The Sportline variant, with its distinctive alloy wheels and subtly sportier character, is a particularly sought-after version among enthusiasts of the breed.

This 1994 E220 has been with its current owner since 2024 and has been used sparingly on summer days only. It received a comprehensive respray in early 2025, and the vendor describes the resulting paintwork as beautiful, with all chrome work reported to be in good condition. The Sportline wheels have been recently diamond cut and fitted with new centres, complementing the fresh bodywork. Inside, the vendor states the leather seats are in good order with no tears or significant wear, and new floor mats have been fitted.
