Over £4,600 invested in late 2023 with supporting invoices on file

The Appeal
The Clio Williams 2 is widely regarded as one of the finest-handling hot hatchbacks of the 1990s. Developed entirely by Renault Sport, it paired a 148bhp naturally aspirated 2.0-litre 16-valve engine with a chassis featuring a reinforced subframe borrowed from the Clio Cup racing car, widened front track, bespoke springs, and uprated dampers, all wrapped in just 990kg of Metallic Sports Blue bodywork riding on iconic gold Speedline alloys.
This example shows an indicated 98,953 miles and holds an advisory-free MOT valid until June 2027. Shortly after the current keeper acquired the car in mid-2023, significant investment followed across two workshops, Coopers of Goodwood and Matthew Hill Coach Trimming Ltd, covering mechanical, braking, bodywork and electrical items totalling over £4,600, with invoices on file.
There are honest signs of use to note, including minor paint bubbling below the rear lights, small tears on the inner driver's seat bolster, and age-related wear to the door cards. The tyres are dated 2004 and would benefit from being replaced. This remains, however, a compelling opportunity to acquire one of the most sought-after driver's cars of its generation, recently maintained and with current MOT certification.image.png1.69 MB
