The Appeal
The current keeper of this stylish Plus Four bought it for ice cream trips to the seaside with his grandson and we can’t think of a better car for the job. Morgan’s clever four-seat tourer is as distinctive and smile-inducing as anything on four wheels, particularly when painted in gelato-appropriate cream and brown as here.
As a 1995 car, this one benefits from the revised T16 version of Rover’s 2L engine and the wider Plus 8 chassis, which gives 4in more elbow room to occupants. The cream-lined cabin with its walnut accents features useful front and rear seatbelts.
The vendor bought the car in December 2024 and has used it sparingly. There is a decent history file showing lots of older refurbishment work and recent replacement of the starter motor and rear shocks, plus some wiring work. The last MOT expired in December 2025 but contained no advisories.
This pretty Plus Four looks perfect for trips to the seaside and, with that practical layout, maybe further afield too.
The vendor says:
“It’s a beautiful car that I bought to take my grandson to the coast for an ice cream. I did that last summer. But have only driven it 4 times in total.”
