The Appeal
The Citroën C15D is a workhorse van at perhaps its most Citroën-esque. Utilitarian and owing more than a few notes to legendary vehicles like the 2CV Fourgonette, these commercial panel vans were once a common sight - particularly for small businesses and independent traders. As the utilitarian, lightweight van was often run into the ground, they've become increasingly rare on UK roads, with very few examples remaining nearly 30 years after production.
This red C15D has had just one former registered keeper and has covered 50,758 miles, mostly in its first 15 years before being dry stored for the vast majority of time thereafter. The current keeper acquired it in November 2023 with plans for a small delivery business, which sadly never came to pass due to their early retirement.
Following the acquisition, necessary repairs were completed, including rear suspension bushes and a number plate bulb, and a fresh MOT was obtained. The van has not been driven on the road since that MOT, which has now expired, though a fresh MOT will be undertaken if requested by the buyer.
