The Appeal
With the X100 XK8 nudging 30 years old, the earliest examples are becoming increasingly sought after. These were popular cars when new, but survivors as good as this 41,000 mile car are hard to find.
Finished in popular dark blue metallic with ivory leather, this October 1996 coupe is in very good condition. It wears its age lightly and would form a good basis for a show car. The vendor reports that it comes with full service history from new. Earlier this year a Jaguar specialist attended to the ECu and injectors and checked the coils.
With no mechanical or structural advisories on the current MOT, which runs to June 2026, this is a transparently tidy early X100 that retains its desirable early features like the Starfish alloys.
The vendor says:
“Great to drive very smooth and still love the sound of the v8!”
