The Appeal
The Jaguar XJS was likely the last thing enthusiasts expected when it was launched as the successor to the E-Type, but what it lacked in similarity to the iconic tourer, it made up in sheer popular and endurance. The XJS remained on the market for over twenty years, culminating in the Celebration edition in 1996, marking the car's triumphant farewell.
This left-hand drive example spent most of its life in the dry climates of California and Florida, contributing to its very clean undercarriage. Having been imported to the UK and registered in 2023, it comes with all import paperwork and a clear Carfax report. The current owner purchased it approximately three years ago as a birthday present and has maintained it meticulously, storing it indoors under cover and keeping it on charge.
A 'black-on-black' example is endlessly desirable, and this one looks like a fabulous prospect.
