The Appeal

It's arguably the Morgan Plus 8 that defined the image of the Morgan Motor Company. Often credited with saving the company during its most turbulent period, and perfecting that now time-honoured lineage of the wood-framed, high-octane sports car. It's arguable, then, that this is the British classic at its best, and certainly most influential.

This particular 1996 example combines classic Morgan styling with the muscular, Rover-provided 3.9-litre V8, creating an exhilarating driving experience that few other classics can match. Having been regularly serviced and driven by the current owner since April 2022, this Morgan appears in smart condition for its age with several thoughtful upgrades including an aluminium radiator for improved cooling and a steering damper that provides road-going stability.

With only 3 former registered keepers and comprehensive documentation under its belt, this plus-eight is a fabulous opportunity.
