The Appeal
The Bentley Turbo R was very much a development of the Mulsanne before it - but the changes it made were substantial enough to really reinvigorate the company's image. While the Mulsanne felt a little weedy and floaty, the Turbo R felt powerful, determined and capable. The press of the era loudly proclaimed the Turbo R to be the best of the company's offerings in decades.
This 1997 car was previously owned by the legendary David Frost, for whom it was often chauffeur-driven. As you'd expect, it was kept in excellent order, something that seems to have been kept up throughout its later life. Having spent the past 14 years with its current keeper, the car has been regularly serviced and used sparingly. It comes complete with an enviable cocktail cabinet inside the cabin and a valid MOT until March 2025.
