The Appeal
The many enthusiasts who understandably laud Jaguar’s X308 are not spoilt for choice when it comes to finding one. Likely, though, few are as good as this one. Finished in rare, stand-out Amaranth Pearl metallic over Oatmeal leather, the attractive specification is just the start of its appeal.
The mileage of under 45,000 is supported by a remarkable run of 23 service stamps. This car has been fastidiously looked after by its five keepers. It was most recently serviced - together with Lanoguard undersealing - in March 2024. All servicing and maintenance has been undertaken either by the supplying main dealers or well-regarded marque and model specialists.
It all adds up to a car that is in quite remarkable condition. It is certainly one of the very best we have had the pleasure of presenting in recent months. The long, advisory-free MOT confirms the condition.
This is a collector-quality example of one of the last of Jaguar’s traditional saloons.

The Condition
- Rare and very attractive Amaranth Pearl metallic paintwork is very well kept
- There are a small number of stone chips to front but these are not easily seen
- Bodywork similarly well kept due to dry use with unmarked arches and sills
- Other panelwork areas across car such as screen surrounds and wings are tidy
- Underside in very good order with recent Lanoguard protective treatment
- Well kept multi-spoke alloy wheels show few marks and are fitted with Pirelli tyres
- Protective factory mud flaps fitted all round
- Oatmeal leather interior with Sable carpets
- Interior is highly preserved showing very little wear typical of sparing use
- Leather seats in particular look virtually new and retain their factory shape
- Walnut veneers throughout present as unmarked and well kept
- Protective Jaguar-branded rubber mats for carpets
- Steel space saver spare wheel
- Boot area is well kept with no noticeable stains to grey carpet trim
- Headlining in good order with no noticeable sagging which can be typical of model
- Original Jaguar sound system with CD multi changer and factory radio code included
