The Appeal

The choice of classic convertibles that you can share with family and friends tends to be small, but one of the very best is the first generation of Mercedes’ CLK. The W208 has the quality, class, comfort and style to make every trip, whether out for Sunday lunch or off to San Tropez a proper joy.

These attractive cars tend to respond to careful use and storage, which is exactly what makes this very tidy CLK230 Elegance stand out. Its Azurite Blue paintwork, blue fabric roof, five-spoke alloys, and grey leather cabin look barely half their age. This reflects the current long-term keeper’s storage regime, summer-only use and the car’s very low mileage of 48,000 miles.

The service book shows a run of attention by main dealers and specialists, most recently in July 2025. The car has covered few miles since. The current MOT runs to July 2026 with no advisories.
