The Appeal
Nobody expected the Chimaera. From the Blackpool firm better known for leftfield sports cars, here was a - fairly- conventional GT roadster in the finest tradition of British two seaters.
All of which is very good news for modern classic buyers. There is nothing quite like a good Chimaera, a car that is just quirky enough and just conventional enough to be usable and easy to live with.
This 1998 400 has been in the hands of the current keeper since 2013 and is a very low mileage example. Finished in black with a smart cream leather interior, it is pleasingly factory standard and in good running order. Despite sparing use, the vendor has serviced it annually to 57,000 miles and attended to the relatively minor maintenance requirements along the way.
The car is ready to enjoy and comes with MOT to June 2025.
