The Appeal

There are myriad special edition Minis, but some are more special than others. The Cooper BRM ranks highly on that list. The BRM was built to celebrate the partnership between the Rover Group and British Racing Motors, combining the beloved Mini platform with a sporting heritage steeped in Formula One history. The John Cooper Sport variant of the BRM is the rarest specification of all, with only 100 examples produced and just 30 believed to survive worldwide.

This example was originally supplied to the Japanese market, where it has been dry stored in temperature-controlled conditions throughout its life and reportedly never driven in the wet. Now imported and registered on UK plates, it comes finished in British Racing Green with matching green full-grain leather seats and a walnut dashboard. The vendor states the body is "100% rust-free", having received a full Waxoyl treatment, and describes the car as being in "as-new" condition. Serviced and maintained by nationally recognised Mini specialists Somerford Minis, it comes with pages of invoices documenting the care lavished upon it.
