The Appeal

With its combination of agile handling, crisp lines and Germanic build quality, the E36 transformed BMW’s fortunes in the 90s. For many, it is the mid-sized car of the decade. For the many fans of these capable cars, here is a proper treat.

This M43-engined 318i was ordered in September 1999, so it is likely one of the last E36s built. The vendor believes it may be the last E36 registered on the Channel Islands. It was specified with an ‘Individual’ triple green colour scheme, including Fern Green paintwork and bicolour Sea Green leather with matching fabric roof. Other options include the Business Package.

The car has been in the same family since new, spending its life on Jersey, where it has amassed just 26,000 miles. Despite the sparing use it has been very well maintained by main dealers and specialists, most recently in October 2025.

The car is still on Jersey plates but the seller has offered to assist with UK registration. The car will be sold with 12 12-month MOT. A great find for enthusiasts of these versatile four-seat convertibles.
