The Appeal

The Jaguar S-Type V8 was a deliberate nod to the elegance of the original 1963 S-Type, blending retro-inspired styling with the refinement of a smooth 4.0-liter V8 and a five-speed automatic transmission. With its cream leather interior, walnut trim, and a suite of luxury features, it also retains the sumptuous gentlemen's-parlor luxury the marque is so legendary for.

This particular example has been in the hands of its current keeper since 2010, during which time significant mechanical attention has been invested. It's recently fallen on harder times, and will require recommissioning before it can return to the road proper, having spent some time standing still. It's a great set of bones, though, and we expect it'll provide a solid foundation for a full restoration.
