The Appeal
The SL500 is the kind of car that Mercedes has built its brand upon; superb looks, luxurious interior, quick, well built, responsive handling and with a fantastic V8 up front, all packed into a convertible GT. Stylish and good looking without ever being garish, the SL500 is still a good looking car today and especially finished in black. It’s got the iconic Mercedes styling of the time and with the roof up or down, it’s a great looking car from any angle.
But the SL offers far more than just looks, powered by a 5l V8 up front it’s a car with some real grunt. Offering up just over 300 bhp with 339 ft-lb of torque and combined with an excellent chassis, the SL will put a smile on anyone's face, especially with the top down and the big V8 singing through the twin exhaust.
In the same careful ownership since 2015 this SL500 presents beautifully throughout and has clearly been very well cared for throughout its life. From the luxurious interior to the engine and exterior it’s in great condition and is a fine example of this modern classic Mercedes.

Summary
The SL500 is a car it’s hard not to love, with that big V8 up front, excellent styling and a drop top, it’s Mercedes at its best and they don’t come much better than this. In fantastic condition throughout it’s clearly been exceptionally well cared for and presents like a much younger car.
