The vendor describes the car as being in very good condition throughout
Advisory-free MOT valid until 11th March 2027
The Appeal
We love a fast estate car, and here's one of our favourites. The W211 Mercedes-Benz E500 Estate combined the practicality of the E-Class wagon with the effortless performance of a naturally aspirated 5.0-litre V8. With around 302 bhp channelled through a five-speed automatic gearbox, it offered a compelling blend of serious pace and family-car versatility, a combination that relatively few buyers specified new, making survivors all the more appealing today.
This 2004 example has covered 109,000 miles and is offered by a lifelong Mercedes enthusiast who has previously owned an E230 and an E320. The vendor notes that this has been their favourite Mercedes of all, stating that it drives like a dream. It benefits from a new battery and holds a current MOT valid until March 2027. With two sport modes available, the second of which the seller admits they have never been brave enough to try, there is clearly performance in reserve for those willing to explore it.image.png1.04 MB

✓ We want a smooth transaction just as much as you do and as such we run all UK-registered cars and motorbikes for sale on Car & Classic through an online HPI check to verify that they show no insurance database markers for damage or theft, and have no finance owing, allowing you to bid with confidence.
✓ We also check whether vehicles are recorded as being written off as part of an insurance total loss claim at the time an advert is placed on Car & Classic and we helpfully provide write-off category labels (Cat C/D/S/N) for your assistance. However, the presence or absence of a label does not guarantee the vehicle’s status and it is always worthwhile carrying out your own full vehicle history check before making an offer on a vehicle.
