The Appeal

This rather subtle 220bhp C320 is the definition of classic sleeper, helped along by some discreet de-badging. Only the light-touch AMG body kit and five spoke 17in alloys perhaps give the game away.

These 3.2L V6 W203S are a canny buy because they make an entertaining daily driving alternative to more common Audi and BMW performance saloons. This car is one of the nicest we’ve seen in a long while, its Tanzanite Blue paintwork and Anthracite leather cabin looking little used despite the passage of 22 years.

The car is well specified too, likely because it began life as a demonstrator for Mercedes-Benz Mayfair. It was subsequently owned by a father and son and shows just 93,063 miles from new. The service history backs this up and is impressive - we’ve detailed the work below. Recent work includes a service in mid 2025, plus gearbox service, brake work and suspension attention. The paintwork has been improved and protected by a Gtechniq 5-year ceramic coating system. The alloys are recently refurbished and fitted with quality Michelin Pilot Sport 5s all round.
