Highlights
- Sought-after manual gearbox 339bhp B6 S4
- 4.2 L V8 40v
- Current MOT valid to December 2026
- Stand-out Impulse Red leather with silver paintwork
- Interesting project vehicle
The Appeal
The B6 S4 was Audi’s riposte to the E46 M3, offering a more balanced blend between all-out power and comfort and, of course, the added surefootedness of that Quattro drivetrain. The manual gearbox cars are the ones enthusiasts want and it’s the car we have here.
This silver metallic S4 looks a little down on its luck in the photos, but it does have a lengthy MOT valid to December 2026. That suggests that a good valet would considerably improve its fortunes. The stand-out Impulse Red leather interior, with its carbon accents, is in good condition and the bodywork beneath the grime appears generally well sorted.
For the right buyer, who can see past the surface cosmetics, this is an interesting project vehicle and a chance to buy a well-regarded S4 with the superlative Audi 4.2L V8 engine and a manual gearbox.
