The Appeal
The Defender really was the ideal progression of the Land Rover formula, and has formed just as essential a backbone for the pastoral landscape and beyond. While our image of the machines does tend to fixate on their lumbering through country roads, they were also one of the key vehicles for the Ministry of Defence, and still are in many applications.
It's a true all-purpose vehicle, and many - when leaving the MoD - tend to find themselves as estate cars or farm vehicles, where their military modifications serve them well. This fine example is no exception. Very clearly a working car, this double-cab pickup has merrily earned its keep in rural environments since it retired from the military in 2016.
Carrying a good level of patina, a Warn winch and an MOT until January 2026, this Defender is ready and waiting to prove its worth no matter the buyer's requirements. image.png3.69 MB
