The Appeal
In the 'Noughties', the world of super saloons was hotting up with serious entries by Audi, BMW and Mercedes. But none of them offered the charisma and brand heritage of the fifth generation of Maserati’s simply but evocatively named Quattroporte.
The new model properly rebooted the lineage with a totally fresh car that embraced Ferrari DNA, most notably the sonorous V8 engine. That power plant, plus the beautifully trimmed cabin, is a strong reason to want one of these low-volume, hand-built cars.
Classically finished in Grigio metallic with a Poltrona Frau tan leather interior, this low-mileage 4.2-litre car is a good example of these beautiful machines. Crucially, it has had very good maintenance, undertaken by main dealer H.R. Owen, up to 2020. Since the buyer acquired the car in 2024, it has received work by Migliore to the ABS sensor, air conditioning, and four new Michelin tyres. The current MOT runs to August 2026.
Whether you’re here for the luxury, the style or the sound of that V8, this well-kept Quattroporte looks a treat.
The vendor says:
"For a large GT .. handles extremely well no bumps rattles. On the recent visit to the Maserati specialist.. I requested a road test to see if anything needed attention.. reported no issues. In a way I’m questioning why I’m selling it.. as in my opinion it’s a really well sorted super car."
