Much like every truly great SL has, the R230 added grand touring refinement and Teutonic build quality to the sheer pleasure of open-air motoring. The SL350 offered one of the range's smoothest driving experiences courtesy of its 3.7-litre V6. With its clever folding metal roof and optional panoramic glass top, it could serve as both a refined coupé and a true convertible, a duality that remains a compelling proposition today.
This 2005 example, finished in Jasper Blue over Alpaca Grey leather, is well specified with 18" AMG double spoke alloys, COMAND navigation, xenon headlamps, heated seats, and the desirable glass panoramic roof.
