One of the final examples produced before the closure of MG Rover
Just two former registered keepers
Engine refresh carried out in late 2024 by a classic car specialist
Service history, MOT history and supporting invoices on file
The Appeal
The MG TF was the last in a proud lineage of affordable British roadsters, and as one of the final cars to leave the Longbridge production line before MG Rover's closure in 2005, this example holds particular significance for enthusiasts of the marque. Finished in British Racing Green with a tan and black leather interior and wood-effect trim, it conjures up the golden age of the British sports car at its best, while offering an altogether more modern, up to date standard.
Showing just 20,407 miles across its three registered keepers, this TF has led a gentle life, with previous owners reportedly reserving it for special occasions. In December 2024, a classic car specialist carried out an engine refresh with long-term ownership in mind, renewing the cylinder head gasket, cam belt, water pump, thermostat and associated components as preventative measures. A new alternator and battery followed shortly after in January 2025.
The car is accompanied by its service history, MOT history and supporting invoices for all work undertaken. Currently registered SORN and stored in an enclosed garage, it's now ready and waiting for its lucky new keeper, who we're sure will find it a highly rewarding modern classic. image.png2.16 MB
