The Appeal
With the wolves from Jaguar, Mercedes and Audi snapping at its super saloon crown, BMW had to pull out the stops for the fourth-generation M5. The result was the superb E60 with a brand-new, purpose-built 5L V10 507bhp engine under the bonnet.
As tradition dictated, the new M5 looked much like a regular 520, but was definitely wasn’t. This was a four-door supercar that was packed with clever tech offering different driving modes and enhancements.
The trick when buying a E60 M5 is to find a car like this one. There are plenty about, but this car ticks the boxes. It is a low-keeper, low-mileage car in a desirable colour scheme with full BMW service history. Crucially, it is also factory standard and original.
The vendor acquired it for his collection in 2017 and has looked after it well. Alongside regular main dealer servicing irrespective of mileage, it has been carefully dry stored when not in use.
You can guess all this from the photos. It is a very well-kept and presented car. It comes to market with long, advisory-free MOT and a fresh service including brake fluid change.
The vendor says:
“It's an amazing car to drive. it's truly a pleasure to be behind the steering wheel, and I absolutely love every minute in it. The iconic V10 engine is the absolute highlight.”
