The Appeal
Very quick convertibles with four proper seats are in surprisingly short supply, especially when they are as good as the B7-generation S4. Built during Audi’s Imperial phase when quality ruled, these well-engineered and highly durable cars have a further ace up their sleeve - the firm’s excellent 4.2L TFSI V8, lauded by one J. Clarkson as one of the best engines of its era.
This 2007 S4 is that rare thing, a factory-standard, well-preserved car that has covered a mere 36,000 miles from new.
