The Appeal
Geoff Lawson’s X200 S-Type cleverly blended traditional design cues with modern technology and comfort to suit the retro-focussed priorities of new Millennium customers. Today it’s an increasingly well-regarded reminder of what makes Jaguar different from its more anodyne European rivals.
Registered in the final few months of X200 production, this facelift 3L V6 is an enthusiast-owned example with appealing condition and a really nice specification. It is well kept, benefiting from recently refurbished factory alloys, new headlining and a recent £2,400 service by Prestige Jaguar. Other work has included new discs and pads all round, OEM handbrake actuator fitted and brake servo, new spark plugs and replacement of three coil packs. The car was cavity waxed in 2023 following the removal and inspection of sill covers. As a low-mileage car, it wears its 19 years lightly inside and out.
The car comes to market with long MOT so is ready to enjoy.
