The Appeal

This remarkable 2007 SL65 AMG is one of just 130 facelift models built in RHD. Yet it dials up the rarity even further by being a careful replica of the well-known ‘1 of 1’ Linarit Blue Black Edition car - the only example built by Mercedes in that colour.

Beyond that rarity, the initiated will already know that the SL65 is quite a car. Its 607bhp on tap from its 6L twin-turbo V12 catapults the normally reserved and understated R230 firmly into supercar territory. The car left the factory in 2006 as a standard SL65 before subsequently gaining the body kit, with badging, and a colour change to the current blue in 2022.

The vendor acquired the car in 2020 and says he has used it very sparingly. Recent maintenance records support this. They show regular recent servicing, irrespective of mileage, most recently in June 2026. The file supports the low stated mileage of 73,000 miles.

The vendor states the car both drives and presents in very good condition. This SL65 has the sort of presence few modern classics can muster, matched with good condition and provenance.
