The Appeal

The S80 is one of Volvo's most developed executive saloons - a real modern classic. Fitted with a Yamaha-developed 4.4-litre V8 mounted transversely and driving all four wheels through a six-speed automatic gearbox, it offered a distinctive blend of Swedish refinement and genuine performance while boasting the legendary Volvo build quality that continues to be synonymous with the marque. Relatively few were sold, particularly with the desirable V8 powerplant.

This 2007 example has had just two registered keepers from new. The current owner acquired it in March 2019 from the original keeper and has maintained it regularly ever since, retaining service invoices throughout.
