The Appeal

The original R230 has many, many appealing qualities, most notably that clever folding hard top. But the post-2006 model has even more. Notable for the more modern frontal treatment, in V6 guise as here, these later cars benefit from a high specification and improved, more reliable ‘red top’ engine.

Factory-equipped with close to £6,000 of options and finished in the desirable ‘double black’ colour combination, this well-kept, low-mileage SL350 is a facelift car and one that has been properly looked after. The specification includes Sports Pack, premium Harman Kardon stereo and heated and ventilated massage seats. The service history shows a run of regular maintenance up to July 2025 with few miles since the last service. The gearbox oil was replaced in July 2023. Other recent work includes rebuilt electronic ignition switch and new batteries.
