The Appeal
The Piaggio Vespa is an icon of design known and admired worldwide, the aircooled engine is considered indestructible and is the heart of this stylish and elegant scooter. To celebrate 60 years of production the LX series was introduced in 2005. Three engine sizes were offered 50, 125 and 150cc. The smallest being by far the most popular.
Which brings us to this extremely rare example, presented in Black with a Tan saddle, this Vespa LX 50 really is a time warp scooter and has only covered 77 miles (125 KM) since new in 2008. This stunning bike presents in virtually as new condition and has only ever been kept indoors as part of a large collection.. Having just been subject to a full service costing just under £700 after being standing for so long, the bike is ready to be enjoyed or kept in a collection as an appreciating and novel asset.
