The Appeal
For the E60 M5, BMW seriously rethought its brilliant four-door supersaloon. Sharing virtually nothing mechanically with its 5-Series siblings, the new car was a technological tour de force, from its brand new V10 engine to the clever ‘M’ button, which accessed the full 507bhp P500 mode. Press that and, in the words of Jeremy Clarkson, this M5 becomes ‘magnificent.’
The key to buying these sophisticated mileage is provenance and condition. This well-kept, low mileage 2009 M5 scores on each point. Finished in special-order Imola Red, which has received a polish and ceramic coat treatment, paired with Champagne leather and rare Madeira Nutwood veneers, it presents well and has clearly been treated with care. As a 2009 car it features the much-improved factory CIC iDrive system. The car is standard save for a Stage 1 remap.
The vendor bought the car in January 2024 and has used it sparingly. The service history runs to April 2024 at 38,839 miles, since when the car has covered less than 3,000 miles. The MOt runs to May 2027 with a single advisory. The appropriate private registration plate is included in the sale.
