The Appeal
The original Connect was Ford’s concerted bid to corner the small van market with a sort of shrunken Transit. It worked, the stylish van proving a big hit thanks to its usual mix of Ford reliability and inexpensive maintenance.
Most Connects have been to the moon and back, but this 2009 van is exceptional. It shows low mileage for the year and has been regularly maintained by its trio of owners. The last service was in July 2025. Other notable work includes rear discs, pads and calipers in June 2025, front anti-roll bar links in June 2024 and brake pipe, CV joint, ABS sensor and wheel bearing in July 2023.
Finished in blue with upgraded ST-style alloys and a roof spoiler, it is in generally tidy condition for a working van. Beneath the bonnet is the reliable Ford 1.8 TDI engine. This is supported by the MoT, which runs to July 2026 with no advisories.
