The Appeal
Considering its well-proportioned bodywork and fine handling yet comfortable chassis dynamics, it’s hard to believe that the GranTurismo went from sketch to production in just nine months, a record for the time. The high-performance S arrived in 2008, with its larger 4.7L F136 Ferrari/Maserati V8, good for 440bhp.
For lovers of Maserati’s well-regarded grand tourer, this is the sort of car you want to find. Its two keepers have kept the total mileage below 25,000 miles yet regularly entrusted it to main dealers and marque specialists for maintenance throughout its life. Recent work includes an all-important cambelt change in late 2024, just 300 miles ago, and a service a few months early, less than 500 miles ago.
Finished in the popular combination of Grigio Touring metallic with Nero black leather, this is a really well presented well kept car. The Alcantara headlining, together with the A and B pillar trims, was recently replaced. There are few indications of age around the interior or exterior, including switchgear free of the Maserati ‘sticky’ curse. The high specification includes active sound with various settings, factory navigation and electric front seats with heating. The MOT runs to September 2026 with no advisories.
