The Appeal
For those for whom 550bhp from its clever W12 twin-turbo engine didn’t quite cut it, Bentley introduced the GTC Speed in 2009. While the headline figure was the 50bhp leap to 600bhp, the real change was the torque increase from 479lb/ft to 553lb/ft. The new car’s watchwords were ‘effortless progress.’
This very well-kept Speed has the specification and colour scheme that we know will appeal to enthusiasts. It is one of the exceptionally rare 'Edition 51' cars built in 2009 and 2010 to honour the creation of Bentley's own in-house design department in 1951. These cars feature special badging and 'three colour' interior trim. Ticking the '51' option box opened the door to a range of exclusive trim and specification choices, ensuring that each of these cars is different. Indications are that just a tiny handful of these cars were built each year.
Outside, the car is ‘all black’ in paint and roof, while inside the diamond-stitched cabin mixes black and ivory to good effect. It is a very tidy car that has been well maintained too. The service book shows a run of 12 stamps by main dealers and specialists. The last service was in June 2026, and the MOT runs to April 2027 with no advisories.

Rarified and, quite simply, really fast, this GTC Speed has the style, pace and condition to impress.
