The Appeal

The second-generation XKR was a major leap forward: lightweight aluminium construction and the highly rated AJ-V8 GEN III 5L V8, good for over a supercar-bating 500bhp, makes it the peak sports car of Jaguar’s classic petrol-powered era.

With most X150 XKRs painted black or silver, this car’s Italian Racing Red finish is both rare and very appealing. It is a really well-kept car that has covered just under 62,000 miles from new. That figure is supported by a very good service history, which shows regular attention, virtually annually, up to April 2026 and 61,660 miles.

The car was factory supplied with nearly £3,000 of options, including the Performance Active exhaust system. This is an electronically-controlled valve system built into the vehicle's exhaust pipes that allows the driver to manually toggle between a quiet, civilised exhaust note for neighbourhood driving and a loud, aggressive roar with characteristic "crackle and pop" overruns.

The current keeper of this car acquired it in 2022. Since then, alongside regular servicing, it has received new headlamp washers, front brake pads, a pedestrian sensor and a new battery. The current MOT runs to April 2027 with no advisories.
