The Appeal
There are numerous credible alternatives, but no luxury SUV quite matches the L322’s mix of capability and cossetting. Any version works well, but for many the sweet spot is this model - the facelift TDV8 with Jaguar’s own 309bhp 4.4L turbo diesel engine. Enthusiasts will know that these later models feature the stronger 8spd ZF gearbox.
It’s an indication of the specification and quality that these improved Range Rovers cost £80,000 new. This one was very nicely specified by its first keeper in Midnight Blue with cream leather piped to match the paintwork. It is the luxury Vogue model so the list of luxuries is extensive.
The current keeper bought it in late 2024 and has subsequently lavished it with investment. Wantage 4x4 has completed all work, including servicing, gearbox, suspension, propshaft, heating system, and welding. The full list of work is shown in the invoices displayed in the photos. The current MOT runs to January 2027 with a single, easily rectified advisory.
