The Appeal
Known as the ‘baby blade’ because of its Fireblade-inspired styling, the CBR500R is widely praised as an entry bike for those looking to hone and develop their speed skills. It’s comfortable too, so it works well as a commuting or touring bike for those with A2 licences.
The vendor acquired this 2013 example in 2013 when living in New Zealand. He brought it with him to Scotland in 2019, and it was UK-registered in 2021. The speedo was changed from km to mph as part of the relocation and the bike is now said to have covered less than 30,000 miles.
Factory standard and unmodified, and with recent attention to the fuel system, this is a really tidy and well-kept example of these popular bikes. It comes with a useful advisory-free MOT valid to March 2027.
The vendor says:
“Great bike to ride to learn your basic skills be progressing to a higher CC sports bike.”
