THE BACKGROUND
Conceived by the Rolls-Royce Design division as an ultra-premium flagship edition of the personalised ‘MINI Yours’ range, the Mini Inspired by Goodwood was introduced in 2012.
In the tradition of the exclusive Radford and Wood & Pickett Minis of an earlier generation, it showcased top-grade Rolls-Royce workmanship and materials.
They’ve always been rare cars, thanks partly to their astronomical original price. Only 1,000 examples were built worldwide, of which 119 were sold in the UK. As a manual, this example is even rarer: one of only 30.
With full main dealer service history from new, it’s been immaculately maintained and presents in excellent condition.
THE HISTORY
This example was first registered in June, 2013. It has had five owners. The first two covered 8800 miles in its first three years, and another collector covered 1000 miles a year from 2016-2020. It has now covered 21,000 miles from new.
THE PAPERWORK
The car comes with a full MOT history (with no advisories, as you would expect) and main dealer stamped service book, along with all maintenance invoices from new, including the routine air con refresh.
The original book pack includes an owners’ manual and service directory and both keys.
The V5C is ready to be signed over to the new owner.
THE INTERIOR
The cabin is a truly special place to be. With Rolls-Royce’s legendary craftsmanship, it feels genuinely luxurious. The dash, including the instrument surrounds and air vents, the centre console, Lounge seats, door trims, side and body pillars are all trimmed in Rolls-Royce’s exclusive ‘Cornsilk’ Connolly leather, supple and soft to the touch - and of course, with that inimitable R-R smell.
The headlining and sun visors are trimmed in Cashmere, while the top of the dash and the door tops are stitched in black Nappa leather. There are discreet fillets of real burr walnut, with glossy Piano Black trim for the switchgear and steering wheel controls. Even the instruments are special, with the font used only by Rolls-Royce.
Deep-pile lambswool floor mats finish off the tactile delights, and the interior is in impeccable order, as you’d expect from the mileage.

THE EXTERIOR
Like all Mini Inspired by Goodwood models, the car is finished in Rolls-Royce Diamond Black Metallic as per the company’s Phantoms and Wraiths, with an exceptional depth of shine.
The bonnet air scoop is deleted, and the car has no model badging to the rear.
Only the discreet aluminium ‘Goodwood’ side flashes and kick plates hint at its premium credentials.
The wheels are model-specific 17-inch multi-spoke alloys, shod with Continental run-flats (brand new at the front).

The only faults are a few tiny paint imperfections commensurate with its exceptionally low mileage, and a tiny ding from a flying stone in trim the bottom of the windscreen (see photograph).
THE MECHANICS
Under the bonnet is the standard 184bhp 1,598cc Cooper S powerplant with twin scroll turbo and 184bhp – enough for a 6.5-second 0-60 sprint.
Dynamic Stability Control, Dynamic Traction Control, Automatic start/stop and switchable ‘Sport’ driving mode all operating as per spec.
The engine and six-speed manual transmission are in fine order, being maintained by the book with regular fluid changes and with no known faults.
THE APPEAL
A handsome, well cared-for and genuinely rare ultra-premium luxury supermini in virtually as-new condition with no stories, and eminently collectable.
