The Appeal
The ‘Inspired’ MINI was a collaboration between the firm and Goodwood-based Rolls-Royce that cleverly recalled the Wood & Pickett luxury Minis of the 1960s. Each car was based on the supercharged Cooper S and built on the main MINI line, but with a high level of hand-finishing. The specification included special paintwork, Cornsilk leather, lambswool overmats, cashmere rooflining and burr walnut. 1,000 were available worldwide. To buy one of the 119 allocated to the UK you would have needed the equivalent of nearly £60,000 in 2012.
Just 28 of those UK cars were supplied with a manual 6-speed gearbox. This is one of them. It is a two-keeper example that has covered just 23,000 miles from new. It is in really good order and a proper testament to its current long-term keeper, who acquired it in 2015. Previously to her purchase it was the demonstrator at MINI JCT600.
The history file shows regular maintenance with the last service in November 2025. The current MOT runs to December 2026 with no advisories. There are many MINI variants, but the Goodwood is the only one that mixes Rolls-Royce-infused luxury with Cooper pace. Don’t miss this exceptionally rare example.
