The Appeal
The Mulliner Driving Specification sat at the very pinnacle of the Mulsanne range, adding sport-tuned suspension, 21-inch wheels, and a suite of upgraded interior appointments to Bentley's already formidable flagship saloon. With its 6.75-litre twin-turbocharged V8 producing 505 bhp and driving the rear wheels through an eight-speed ZF automatic, the Mulsanne offered a distinctly different character to the Continental, a deep, muffled V8 burble and a sense of occasion that few modern cars can match.
This example is finished in Metallic Black over a Linen leather interior with contrast piping and complementing burr walnut veneers, a striking and traditional colour combination. One of just 884 Mulsannes built in 2014, and specified in the Mulliner Driving Specification guise, it has covered an indicated 35,862 miles from just two former registered keepers. The current owner has had the car for approximately two years, reporting that it has been garaged and used primarily for special occasions.
The vendor describes the bodywork and paintwork as being in very good order. Recent work carried out by a Bentley specialist near Market Harborough has included a service, two new batteries, new boot struts, and replacement shock absorbers. The vendor does note that a small piece of stainless trim is missing, currently on back order from Bentley. Supplied with two keys, book packs, a Bentley dealer-stamped service book, and two Bentley tracker fobs, this is a compelling opportunity to acquire Bentley's flagship in its most exclusive guise.
