The Appeal
The 981 Cayman makes a strong case for not needing a much more expensive supercar. It looks great, it’s got a superbly balanced chassis and the driver engagement is second to none. With their stiffer, lighter chassis, improved interior quality and lack of IMS bearing issues, this is arguably the Cayman generation you want.
The first keeper of this 2014 car made some wise choices from the options list. The silver paintwork is augmented by a set of 20in Carrera Classic alloys, and there’s also the highly desirable PDK lightning-quick automatic gearbox. The full list of additions totalled over £8,500 and added over 20% to the base purchase price.
The car remains in good order and shows recent servicing. It will be sold with a new 12-month MOT. This is a really well-specified and nicely presented Cayman.
