Highlights
- Low mileage and well kept conversion
- Converted by Dorchester Collection and re-registered as a motor caravan
- Only two keepers with current since conversion in 2017
- EGR valve recently replaced
- MOT valid until November 2026 with no advisories
The Appeal
The current keeper of this very tidy T28 is only the second owner and acquired it following its professional conversion by Dorchester Collection. Since then it has been well kept, used for frequent holidays and trips and serviced regularly.
As the photos show, the high specification conversion has been done well and remains in good order. The cabin is well kitted out and there is a versatile Fiamma pop top with large side awning. The paintwork and bodywork are also in good order.
Beneath the bonnet is VW’s well-regarded 2L TDI engine, mated to a 5spd manual box. We’re told the van has been serviced regularly, and the photos show invoices from a VW specialist. The EGR valve was replaced recently. The current MOT runs to November 2026 with no advisories. This is a very tidy, honest example of the hugely popular T28.
The vendor says:
“The van is great to drive, it has served us well as both a family vehicle and a home away from home when out camping. With the solar as well as electrical hook up you can last that little bit longer away form civilisation or off the grid and it takes no time when you arrive at your destination to go from vehicle to home, 15 minutes and you can be feet up enjoying the scenery.”
