The Appeal
Sharper handling, quicker steering and low-down torque all make the 718-generation Cayman the one you want. It may also be the last version purpose-designed for petrol engines.
This 2018 example presents in a smart white-over-black specification, sitting on 20-inch black five-spoke alloys with red brake callipers. Purchased in May 2025, it has been garage-kept and very lightly used, covering only around 700 miles since its most recent MOT. The bodywork was professionally ceramic coated in 2025 to protect the finish, and the vendor reports the car is in very good condition inside and out.
When the car was purchased, specialist Topcar Services carried out close to £3,000 of remedial work. The work covered new front discs and pads, replacement coolant pump and repairs to the spoiler. The car comes to market with a long MOT containing no advisories.
The vendor says:
“This is a fantastic 718 Cayman that is genuinely great fun to drive. The mid-engined handling, strong performance and excellent PDK gearbox make it feel like a proper Porsche, while still being comfortable and easy to use. We particularly love the combination of the white bodywork, 20-inch black five-spoke alloys and red brake callipers, which really suits the car. It has been a pleasure to own and has been carefully looked after, garage-kept and very lightly used. The CAY 718A registration finishes it off perfectly and is included in the sale. We are only selling because we have recently bought a motorhome and are reducing the number of vehicles we own.”
