The Appeal

Evo’s reviewers took a little time to warm to the F82 M4, but like any truly great car it’s one that takes time to inveigle its way into your affections. Extremely quick, highly capable and, frankly, very exciting, it’s a future classic in the making.

The Competition Pack takes the standard car and makes it even better. The headline is a 20bhp hike to 445bhp, but it’s the tweaks to the Adaptive M suspension system, retuned differential and Dynamic Stability Control package that make this version the serious driver’s choice. These cars also got the lighter M Sport seats, a M Sport exhaust and gloss black trim.

To that elevated package, this car adds a further £3,500 of factory-fitted options. Beneath the car’s current satin grey protective wrap is BMW Individual San Marino blue paintwork. The car also has a Head-Up display and the Harman Kardon surround sound system.

The vendor acquired the car in 2024 and has continued the trend established by previous keepers of sparing use and regular maintenance. We’re told that the car has BMW service history and was recently serviced. There is also a set of recently fitted Michelin Pilot Sport tyres. The current MOT runs to November 2026.

The final piece of this compelling jigsaw is a Stage 2 remap that is said to up power to 600bhp. This is a serious piece of kit and a well-kept car.

sorry, another question, does the wrap go around the internal areas/edges of the doors? I can only see a small amount of the original blue around the boot and inside engine bay.

Hi, No problem at all. Yes the company that I used was CarWrap24. I believe they can deal with any repairs required, however the wrap does not currently need any repairs and is in excellent condition. Yes the wrap covers internal areas and edges and looks very professional. They will also be able to remove the wrap if you wished to remove it, or you could remove it yourself if preferred. Thanks again.

Do you know who fitted the wrap? Are they able to deal with any repairs if needed or is the colour/material easily found with other firms who do wrap repairs?

Good morning, Yes the wrap will be left on once winning the auction but can be removed. The limited edition blue is underneath and is in pristine condition. The car was already modified and remapped when bought so unsure who completed it. Thanks for your interest.

The most recent service was carried out by BMW on 30/08/2024, as shown in the photo. All receipts have been retained and will be provided to the new owner. I purchased the vehicle just prior this service. As part of the purchase, I had a full health check and service completed directly with BMW, which it passed with flying colours and no issues. The car was purchased from my brother-in-law, who also maintained and looked after it very well. There are no additional mechanical or visual points to note beyond what is already included in the advert - the car is in excellent condition. Apologies for any confusion regarding the wrap. The vehicle is being sold as seen with the wrap in place, as it has been for the majority of my ownership. If you are the winning bidder, you are of course welcome to remove it yourself or have it professionally removed, depending on your preference. Thanks again, and best of luck with the bidding.
