The Appeal
The 488 Pista had a lot to live up to. Any track-derived or track-focused Ferrari has illustrious forebears such as the 360 Challenge, F430 Scuderia, and 458 Speciale. When Ferrari announced it in 2018, expectations were understandably high. The Pista delivered.
The car is based on the 488GTB. Pista means ‘track’ in Italian, which is your clue to what this car is all about. Thanks to some clever aerodynamics, notably the frontal ‘S-Duct,’ it has 20% more downforce than the standard car. A lightweight interior contributes to a 91kg weight saving, too. The Pista is also the most powerful V8-engined Ferrari ever built. Perhaps no surprise then that it is widely regarded as one of the firm’s true greats, thanks to its sheer tactility, the 488 Pista is a nailed-on future classic. Only a few thousand were built, and likely only a handful have the provenance of this car.
Finished in stand-out Giallo Modena with an Alcantara Nero interior, it is quite simply an exceptional example. That’s largely because the buyer is getting an essentially brand-new car, one that has covered a mere 114km from new. It benefits from a recent full PPF treatment and Ferrari service.

The Condition
- Exterior finished in Giallo Modena with central 'Blu America' and Silver stripes
- Vendor describes paintwork as like new
- The vendor states the paintwork is original, with full Paint Protection Film applied
- Bodywork described by the vendor as like new
- Grey anodised factory alloy wheels with matching Michelin tyres
- Alcantara Nero interior with yellow stripe highlights as shown
- Interior described by the vendor as "like new"
The 488 GTB is an exceptionally pretty car, but the Pista takes things a step further. Clever styling tweaks give the impression of a shorter nose, while an array of diffusers and the clever bonnet S-Duct conspire to increase downforce, whilst also dialling up the looks.
This car leans into the track theme with its Giallo Modena paintwork, a very eye-catching, standout colour accented with 'Blu America' and silver racing stripes. There is also a set of grey anodised alloys. The vendor describes the exterior as being ‘like new’, and considering the very low mileage, that is hardly surprising.
Inside, there is a lightweight Alcantara Nero interior that carries the exterior finish through in the form of some striped detailing. It also looks barely used. You can read the car’s full specification in the photos.
The Mechanics
- 3.9-litre twin-turbocharged V8 producing 720 bhp
- Seven-speed dual-clutch transmission
- Serviced at Ferrari Barcelona on the 23rd of January 2026
- Described by the vendor as mechanically like new
- 114km from new, verified by the car's service record
The Pista uses Ferrari’s 3.9L F154 twin turbo engine with power dialled up to 720bhp to make it the most powerful road-going V8 that Ferrari has ever built. There is also the firm’s clever 7-spd dual-clutch automatic, offering lightning-quick shifts and a variety of driving modes. Performance is, quite simply, blistering - 60mph arrives from standstill in 2.9secs.
Beyond the headline figures, reviewers praise the Pista for its tactility - it is a car that requires familiarisation, but it rewards that effort. The buyer of this car effectively gets a brand-new, delivery-mileage car. Since Ferrari stopped making them in 2020, that is a rare and perhaps unrepeatable opportunity.
Despite the sparing use, the car comes to market with a recent Ferrari service and what we are told is a current Italian Revisione.
