The Appeal

It's no over-exaggeration to say that the Porsche 356 is one of the most iconic sports cars ever created. The product of simple, beautiful engineering, these lightweight, nimble sports cars formed a foundation of the Porsche brand, paving the way for the 911 that was to come. Original examples are becoming challenging to attain, and the 356's mechanical similarity to the Volkswagen Beetle means well-executed replicas such as this are an increasingly attractive proposition.

The market is dominated by Speedster replicas, so here we have a rarer closed-body Coupé that faithfully captures the essence of the original. First registered in 2021, this freshly built example is presented in very good condition throughout with just 4,200 miles on the odometer, and it benefits from a comprehensively rebuilt engine and transmission. With its award-winning presentation and even some genuine Porsche interior components, this is a compelling, affordable alternative to an original 356.
