The Appeal
Gerry McGovern’s minimalist ‘anti bling’ design and Land Rover’s clever lightweight aluminium MLA-Flex pushed the L460 Range Rover into a class of its own. Nothing does what it does quite as well, particularly when you pick the viscerally quick 530bhp V8 SV model.
Add in this SV’s bespoke flame orange paintwork, black trim and cream-themed interior, and you have a very impressive example of these rare and capable all-roaders. This three-year-old example is in very good order and nicely specified with light wood veneers, rear entertainment and a panoramic roof. Land Rover serviced it in 2025, and it is now due for another service. The current MOT runs to July 2027 with no advisories.

The L460’s clever trick is to be generously proportioned yet drive and handle like a much smaller car, largely thanks to Land Rover’s clever lightweight aluminium-based engineering. The SV gets the firm’s extremely quick 530bhp 4.4L V8, mated to a smooth 8spd auto box.
This SV is said to drive well. It was serviced by Land Rover in early 2025 and is now due a further service. The MOT contains no advisories.
